What’s Happening – A New Video

We are so excited after many months of planning, writing, and photographing, we are excited to show you our new video. We think it captures what it is like to stay at Lake Lucerne Resort and Ranch.

Please take a minute to watch. At the beginning it features the interior of the cottages and cabins. It moves on to things our guests do when they visit. The final segment shows the interactions that our guests have with all our farm animals. We would love it if you would share the video with your family and friends. Have everyone like it and pass it on to their friends. Let them see why you like to stay with us.

The story about the video is special. Over fifty years ago, Zoie Kaye worked in advertising in San Francisco. with a fashion photographer named Gordon Emberley. At that time his son, Bill, was seventeen and just starting out with his dad. Fast-forward all these years later and Bill is now the owner of a successful video production company in Alameda, CA. His company produced our new video. He packed up his entire studio and flew to Arkansas do this video for us.

Introducing the Turkeys

What's happening – New Turkeys at Lake Lucerne Resort and Ranch

Next time you visit Lake Lucerne Resort and Ranch you may find yourself doing a double take. Yes, you probably did see a turkey walk past your cottage. They are a new addition to our critter family. Their job will be to assist in bug control, plus we think they are a laugh. They are still young and awkward looking. One of them made his first really loud “gobble-gobble” this week and he looked shocked about what came out of his mouth. Drive carefully at the Resort as there are a lot of critters crossing our roads. You never know what’s happening at the resort. https://historiccottages.com/the-ranch/meet-the-animals/
